Disturbed

Walking on an empty street, she felt alone and hopeless. She looked around, and there were tall abandoned buildings along the passage she was walking. The sky was gray, and there were barely lights that illuminate pretty colours around. The atmosphere was humid but it was really cold too. Basically, it was a gray gray world.

She walked and walked. She did not know how long has she been walking. Every time she walked she saw the same row of building, the same type of road. It was as if there is no end to it. She wondered, how long has she been walking and how long more does she have to walk until she came to a stop?? Is there anybody out there that could at least guide her to where she's heading?

The thoughts get her thinking. Sudden chill runs through her vein. Her heartbeat beats faster. She could feel blood rushed down her skin. She was afraid.

WHERE AM I? I'M SCARED..

Nonetheless, she kept on walking.

It was a hell of a lonely road. When she called for anyone, her own voice echoes back. Suddenly, she heard a small cries. It was as if there is a lady crying. Sudden goosebumps runs through her skin, but deep down, a small guts crippling out from her heart, made her inner will wants to go to the source of the cries. So unconsciously, she started running. Faster and faster. The tapping sounds her shoes made echoes around and her heartbeat can be heard loud and clear. She ran and ran, and the crying sound gets louder and louder. Her excites overcome her already low stamina. The will of wanting to know where the cry is from and who might it be matters more than anything to her now. She keep on running...and finally, she stopped.

She bows her head and body down, catching breath from all the running. The sudden cries she heard just near her left ear makes her jumped in shock. She slowly turned her head to the left, and there...She saw a pale lady tucking her legs inside, hugging and embracing herself from the cold. She is so pale, and very thin. She could barely recognize how old she is because she looked so effing miserable. It was like looking at a living corpse. The lady stops crying and lift her head up.

Sudden chill running at the back of her neck and she couldn't help but trembles hard. Because as that lady lifted up her head, all she saw....was herself.
